| Extra Information | The early Pleyel edition is not mentioned by Craw. The only early French edition noted is from Sieber (Plate 1815), but Craw could not determine its year of publication. Craw also notes that the Sieber edition was the first to include the Adagio introduction, and later French editions copied this. Given the timeline involved, it's possible that Craw was unaware of the Pleyel edition, or the Sieber and Pleyel editions were published in quick succession (around 1807)? |
